A word of caution here... you want to insist on full disclosure when considering one of these homes. Most FSBO's (For Sale By Owner) are not willing to give you full disclose even though it is required by LAW! Demand to see receipts for work done. Think about the safety of your loved ones, do you want a half-assed job of sanitizing done by a do-it-youselfer when it may endanger your families lives? Although a owner may advertise "as is" they must disclose all health hazards by law.
